Radiology. Endoscopy. Ultrasound. CT

Many years of experience and top-quality equipment allows us to perform imaging diagnostics using X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy examinations, which are often necessary for better diagnosing of our patients.

ENDOSCOPY

Szmaragdowa Clinic is equipped with a Storz endoscope, used only to remove foreign bodies from the esophagus, stomach, and bronchial tree, but also to collect material from the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory system (bronchoalveolar lavage using the BAL technique) for extended examination. In addition, our range of diagnostic services has been expanded to include arthroscopy, rhinoscopy, pharyngoscopy, laryngoscopy, and gastroscopy. Our specialists in endoscopic examinations are: Dr. Paulina Kot, Dr. Paweł Adam Mucha, and Dr. Robert Kraczkowski.

We also perform ultrasound examinations using the latest MINDRAY equipment: Vetus 9 and Vetus 8 with Doppler function. We have micro convex, sector and linear transducers, which are necessary for performing ultrasound examinations of the abdomen, the genitourinary system (including diagnostics and pregnancy monitoring), chest organs, joints, thyroid and eyeball examination.
Computed tomography (CT)

The 24/7 CT scanner at the Szmaragdowa Clinic is a modern diagnostic tool that enables quick and accurate detection of health problems in our patients. Thanks to advanced technology, our clinic offers accurate assessment of bone structures, soft tissues, and air-filled organs. This is particularly helpful in the diagnosis of injuries, tumors, respiratory and neurological diseases, providing comprehensive care 24 hours a day. Computed tomography allows making faster decisions regarding further treatment.
X-ray Our team of veterinarians works on the “GIERTH HF 200A PLUS” X-ray machine with a digital imaging diagnostic system.

Our X-ray laboratory offers:

● general X-rays of the chest, abdomen, pelvic cavity, musculoskeletal system (including X-rays for elbow and hip dysplasia detection) and head and neck
● contrast examinations of the gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, spinal canal and fistulas.

Our specialists in veterinary radiology, X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy are:

Paweł Adam Mucha, DVM, Anna Łach-Boczoń, DVM, and Tomasz Kornat, DVM.

Pregnant women, children and adolescents under the age of 18 may not participate in X-ray examinations. Thyroid disease and cancer are also contraindications for assisting in radiological examinations.
